Nick Gould - CEO

Nick has held a variety of leadership positions focusing on Internet product development and strategic partnerships and joint ventures. Most recently, Nick was VP of Internet Strategy and Business Development for Scholastic Inc., the global children's publishing and media company. Prior to that, Nick led Business Development efforts for BOL.com, Bertelsmann's International online bookselling venture, and Citigroup. Nick's Internet career began at Prodigy Internet where he directed the development of several high-level cross-content initiatives including Prodigy's 150+ online communities and the Prodigy Internet IE 4.0 Active Channel. Nick also provided strategic business affairs and business development support to Prodigy's content departments.

Nick earned a BA in Philosophy from Vassar College and a JD, cum laude, from Benjamin Cardozo Law School.

Jon Mysel - Founder and Principal Consultant

Jon is a Founder of Catalyst Group and a User Interface Design Consultant with 16 years of experience in the specification, design and evaluation of product interfaces. Before forming Catalyst, Jon was a Principal Consultant and Sydney Office General Manager at The Hiser Group, Australia's leading usability and user interface design consulting firm. Prior to joining The Hiser Group, Jon was employed as a Senior Usability Engineer in the Usability Design Group at Digital Equipment Corporation. Working as an internal consultant, Jon carried out hardware and software usability as well as user interface design consulting.

Jon holds a B.Sc. in Engineering Psychology from Tufts University and an MBA from Babson College.

Peter Hughes - Founder and Principal Consultant

Peter is a Founder of Catalyst Group with 13 years experience in marketing, interface evaluation, design and specification. Most recently, Peter's work has focused on the development of online techniques and processes to improve the commercial effectiveness of Websites. Prior to forming Catalyst, Peter was a Senior Consultant at The Hiser Group in Sydney, Australia, where he founded its Web-based usability consulting services in August 1996. Peter's work at Hiser involved managing the Web Usability Services group and playing a leading consulting and design role for the company's clients.

Peter has a combined marketing, technology and design background and holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Business Administration from City University in London and has a postgraduate Design Diploma from the University of Technology, Sydney.
