Our Blog was Blogged

You know that you have landed squarely in the midst of the marketing / communications ecosystem when you mention your blog in a press release and another blogger blogs the fact that you have a blog. Or maybe that’s the whole point of a blog in the first place? Gushing with pride and enthusiasm, we mentioned our new blog in a press release concerning the launch of our new brand identity and redesigned website. Within hours, Dominic Basulto, the New York Region blogger for Corante (who dub themselves “The world’s first blog media company”) had picked up the release and, I must say, quite accurately and succintly summarized Catalyst’s rationale and intention for embarking on this blog-venture in the first place. In addition to being a Princeton grad, like our Franklin, Dominic is also very clearly a forward-looking and sophisticated observer of Internet happenings. We jest, of course (except about the Princeton part). In all seriousness, it actually feels great to make contact in this way. I think we are beginning to get an inkling of what blog-addiction is all about. Anwyay, thanks for the plug, Dominic! We’ll let you know how this experiment works out.
