We Call it “Flideo”

VW’s innovative new Passat promotion is a great way to waste… oh, at least a half-hour. The mini-site presents 120 short films (*very* short), each of which was insipired by one of the 120 new Passat features. So, you have a funny play on the expression “feature film” (yuk, yuk), as well as a fairly unique and engaging all-Flash presentation. As an extra bonus, we at Catalyst have pre-jargonized this presentation technology for you. Introducing: “Flideo.” We fully expect to be reading all about the Flideo revolution in tomorrow’s Wall Street Journal, and have already organized a Conference around the subject.

All snark aside, the site is quite amusing — if only marginally relevant to the actual product it’s intended to promote. Our current office favorites are films 6, 35, 48, and 75.
