According to Dee Margo’s MySpace profile, he’s married and interested in networking and making friends. He has 40 users signed up as “friends�? including Jesus Christ, Admiral CrackMunky and Forever a Bad Ass. Dee is not a high school student, college student, a 20-something, 30-something or even a 40-something. He’s a 54 year old politician from El Paso running for a seat in the Texas State Senate and he’s using MySpace to reach out to a new, younger audience of voters.

What a Character!

Tony the Tiger. The Pillsbury Doughboy. Sonny for Coco Puffs. Trix the Rabbit. I might not remember what I did for Halloween last year, but I will always remember these product characters because they are imbedded into my subconscious. Is this just a coincidence? Am I a product of too much TV watching? Perhaps. But, it could also be that these characters were created in such a genius was as to stick in our minds – in a positive way. Who doesn’t like the Pillsbury Doughboy?

Where did they find this guy? Kieren Vogel, a self-confessed loser who, at 35, still lives with his parents, has never earned more than $10,000 a year as a pet shop employee and has a screwed up dating life, has agreed to have his life video-taped 24/7 for six months and broadcast over the Internet on a site called OurPrisoner.com.
